About iliad group

Formed in 1996 and based in central Liverpool, Iliad are one of the UK’s leading independent development organisations. Their affinity with regeneration projects is matched with a talent for master–planning and a proven track–record in managing complex sites.

They have applied an imaginative and pioneering approach to each of their schemes throughout the North West, and are setting out now on the journey towards leading and delivering the regeneration of other UK cities’ landscapes through urban strategies developed in partnership with both public and private partners.

Iliad do not just regenerate and leave: their trademark is their own commercial involvement in their schemes, which acts as a catalyst in ensuring the success in creating the mixed–use, family–orientated city living, which they believe forms the future for our urban environment.

They have won several awards in the relatively short time that they have been operating.

Regeneration of a city

Iliad are totally dedicated to the regeneration of the city of Liverpool, a city with a great history of seafaring, multi–culturalism, trend–setting in the arts and energy, all of these aspects set within a landscape of stunning buildings. The architectural jewels in Liverpool's crown are well documented by Pevsner et al, two contrasting cathedrals, a majestic waterfront, swathes of Georgian and Victorian private and public buildings.

Yet..

The city needed bringing back to life, and Iliad saw and still see their role as revitalisers of the city by carrying out new–build projects, as well as the refurbishment of the old. Several centuries–old handsome structures have been transformed, under the close personal scrutiny of Iliad's directors, into stylish offices, residential accommodation and commercial outlets. As well as preserving the city's beautiful buildings, Iliad are working closely with the Public Sector on several exciting new projects both in Liverpool and in other northern cities.
