City Hall

City Hall is a Public Funded Initiative led by Liverpool City Council. In 2005 Iliad were appointed Preferred Developer on the project, which will see the development of an iconic building in the heart of Liverpool. The development will encompass Municipal Buildings on Victoria Street. The locally based team working on the project will deliver a building of significant status that will strike a balance between the old and new architecture in the area.

The cathedral inspired design will function around a central hall, where individually designed cellular offices will enjoy views over the hall and can be accessed securely from the ground floor of the building.

The glass façade to the front of the building will provide a welcome frontage with its recessed entrance. A carefully considered public realm will offer sculptured plinths, water fountains and seating for the public to take advantage of and enjoy.
